Acceptable Use Policy
Version: 1.0
Effective date: 19 August 2026
Last reviewed: 19 August 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using aicial’s services responsibly and lawfully. It is referenced from, and forms part of, our Terms of Service.
1. About this policy
Aperim Pty Ltd (ABN 46150699737; ACN 150699737) is incorporated in New South Wales, Australia and operates the aicial brand. In this policy, “aicial” refers to that brand; “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Aperim Pty Ltd; and “you” has the meaning given in the Terms of Service, and in this policy also includes any individual a customer authorises to use the services on its behalf.
This policy applies to our website, waitlist and services. It is referenced from, and forms part of, the Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined in this policy have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited uses
You must not use aicial’s website, waitlist or services to:
- engage in any activity that is unlawful or that facilitates unlawful activity;
- infringe or misappropriate the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of a third party;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble aicial’s platform, or scrape or otherwise systematically extract data from aicial’s platform or outputs;
- probe or circumvent a technical control, rate limit or security feature of aicial’s platform, except for security testing conducted in accordance with section 4;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to another customer’s data, account or content, or to aicial’s systems, networks or infrastructure; or
- upload, transmit or introduce a virus, malware, ransomware or other malicious code.
3. Platform manipulation and inauthentic behaviour
You must not use aicial’s outputs, platform or services to engage in any of the following, and you must not ask us to build, configure or perform any of them on your behalf. This list reflects and extends our Ethics Charter’s commitments about what we refuse to build for any customer, not only as a description of what we build but as a condition of using aicial’s services:
- fake engagement or follower acquisition in any form, including purchased, botted or otherwise inauthentic likes, comments, views, shares or followers;
- engagement pods, reciprocal-engagement schemes or other coordinated arrangements designed to inflate engagement metrics;
- coordinated inauthentic behaviour, including sockpuppet accounts or astroturfing;
- undisclosed automation that poses as a human, including automated replies, comments or direct messages not disclosed as automated;
- mass-DM, auto-follow/unfollow, auto-like, auto-comment or comment-spam “growth” tooling, including automation that acts as you toward other people’s content to farm reciprocal engagement; or
- anything designed to evade a third-party social platform’s own anti-abuse, spam-detection or integrity systems.
4. Security testing
You must not conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning or other security testing against aicial’s systems, network or infrastructure without prior written authorisation from security@aicial.com. Good-faith security research conducted in accordance with our Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy satisfies this requirement on its own terms — you do not need to separately request authorisation before beginning research that meets that policy’s conditions.
See the Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy for those conditions, how to report what you find, and what to expect from us in response.
6. Enforcement
We may suspend or restrict your access to aicial’s services, in whole or in part, for violating this policy, as described in section 7 of the Terms of Service. Where reasonably practicable, we give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue before suspending access.
In urgent or severe cases — including a credible risk to security, to another customer, to a third party, or to the integrity of a connected platform — we may suspend or restrict access immediately and without prior notice. Where we act without prior notice, we notify you promptly afterwards.
We may also terminate your access for a violation of this policy, as described in section 12 of the Terms of Service. Suspending, restricting or terminating access under this policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any other right available to us under the Terms of Service or at law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any right under the Australian Consumer Law or under Division 4A of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse of aicial’s services, or a suspected violation of this policy, to abuse@aicial.com. Please include enough detail — such as the account, content or activity involved — for us to investigate.
We review reports and take the action we consider appropriate, which may include the steps described in section 6.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, practices or legal obligations. The version, effective date and last-reviewed date shown at the top identify the current policy. We publish the updated policy on our website and, where a change is material, provide additional notice through the service or by email before it takes effect.
